This Webpage is currently under development as it is the new web home of EON- Elgin Oxford Norfolk Association of Curators, Archivists, and Directors. Currently the Association has thrity-four member Museums and Archives.

As EON strives to promote all of our members sites and events this web home will feature their individual websites as well as individual events by providing a central listing, description and link to their own website.*

This site is home to the restored Georgian Style residence formerly of the Backus Family, who were early settlers of the Talbot Settlement. Tour this home at your own pace or with an interpreter with its living history rooms, gardens and exhibtions.

As the Official repository of the records of the District of Brock 1842-1849 and the County of Oxford since its incorporation in 1850, this facility provides researchers with a variety of information resources. The Archives also has photographs, postcards, and many other collections documenting Oxford's history.

This site includes a original fisherman's net Shanty, a 1912 freighter wheelhouse, a 1932 Port Dover fishing boat and hertiage docks. All of this while exhibiting the stories of Lake Erie Shipwrecks, Schooner Days, Rum Running, and more.
